MyView Video Diver for iPhone
Research Term at UBC
During my research term at UBC I rewrote the code for the MyView VideoDiver. The VideoDiver allows you to browse through a multi-video space using several novel input techniques. For instance, if you watch a broadcast ice hockey game all cameras capturing the field are delivered to your iPhone. By using the swipe gesture you can switch between adjacent camera angles. Additionally, you can use the VideoFlow (based on the iPod CoverFlow) to browse through the multi-video-space. You can also select players on the screen that are then used for changing the camera angle according to the best view on the selected players.
While I was writing the code for the VideoDiver I was able to make use of an older version developed by two other students during the previous year.
