



Motion Capturing
Bachelor, Term 5
We explored how a character with a non-human skeleton can be animated using a motion capture system. The course work included the development of a storyboard for a three minute video, the modeling of the virtual character (we chose Mike from Monster Inc.), capturing the data using the OptiTrack motion capture system, cleaning and editing the data with Arena and Autodesk MotionBuilder and finally creating the 3D movie with Autodesk Maya.
I was mainly responsible for project management and motion editing with MotionBuilder.
