Chroma Keying is a technique to combine material from various visual media sources. The most common use case is the weatherman standing in front of a virtual weather card. During a study project we used Chroma Keying to produce a film in the section of music performance. Under the guidance of Prof. Martin Kreyßig a team of five students developed a storyboard in order to prepare the shooting. Afterwards a casting was arranged to choose two capable actors. Following this selection we shooted the material in a green screen studio within two days and later the green color (the key) was removed. During the postproduction process special effects were added as well as the title animation. |
