Currently I’m learning some computer vision techniques by using the OpenCV library and a Kinect sensor.
During my research term at UBC I rewrote the code for the MyView VideoDiver.
We explored how a character with a non-human skeleton can be animated using a motion capture system.
Peggle3D is a roundbased multiplayer game that we implemented to learn about game physic concepts.
We produced a small music video clip based on the visuals from the iPod advertisement.
Heartbeat visualizes everybodies dancing in a club on a large screen display based on a heartbeat sensors.
For the german radio station Rockland we developed a concept for a cinema spot and finally produced a first version for a class in 3D animation.

The Networks of Centres of Excellence aims at connecting canadian researchers. I was invited by Prof. Dr. Sidney Fels to be a member of the subnetwork GRAND (Graphics, Animation and New Media).

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supported my work at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, with a scholarship for financing living and travel costs.
While I was an undergraduate I worked as a teaching assistant for coding with Java, multimediaauthoring with Adobe Director, computer graphics with Autodesk Maya and coding for iPhone/iPod Touch.

In 2009, I did an internship at the Full-Service-Multimedia Agency Aperto. As a project manager I worked for customers like Siemens Household Appliance Germany and the home-center chain Höffner Möbelgesellschaft.
